The American Council for Independent Laboratories (ACIL) has announced Particle Technology Labs as one of only ten (10) laboratories receiving the nationwide 2023 ACIL Customer Quality Service Award. This is PTL’s eleventh consecutive year in qualifying for this award.
PTL also garnered a Special Recognition Award for ranking in the top three of Overall Customer Satisfaction. This recognition is based on client survey responses. “It’s especially sweet to receive this award consecutively for 11 years because our recognition is earned every year based on hard data and customer feedback,” commented Kelli Hubert, PTL’s Customer Service Manager.
Developed in 1996 to address the industry’s quality issues and recognize those laboratories with exemplary quality performance, the Program provides laboratory data users with a mechanism to evaluate testing laboratories. Participants commit to:
- Ensuring data integrity
- Meeting customers’ quality needs
- Setting performance standards for the testing laboratory industry
Also of note: no other evaluation program ranks customer satisfaction with laboratory services and requires laboratory management to commit to a data integrity program.
To participate, Particle Technology Labs distributes satisfaction surveys to our customers, commits to an ethics program, and submits a signed code of ethics.
